JANITRONICS Solves Problems— No Matter How Small They May Appear

A hi-tech environment demands hi-tech maintenance support. JANITRONICS’ systems do just that. Our teams of Specialists are trained to work together — efficiently and intelligently. That’s cost-effective.

Our management teams are no different. They are trained to look to the future when developing systems. Each client has unique problems. JANITRONICS’ management teams analyze these problems and create cost-effective solutions.

The backbone of Janitronics’ services is the Team Cleaning® concept that uses specialists, backpack vacuuming system technology, engineered quadrant workflow and quality measurement to maximize cleaning budget dollars.

Janitronics’ consulting and training subsidiary, Concepts4™, offers seminars and training programs on the Team Cleaning® system on a nationwide basis.

Concepts4™ was founded in Albany, NY in 1993 by Jim Harris, Sr. to service the needs within the New York State Public School System. The focus at the time was to introduce a better cleaning system to custodial departments for the purpose of increasing quality and productivity.  In July of 1995, Concepts4™ began national executive seminars and workshops on “How to Implement Team Cleaning®” and quickly became the key source for evaluation and education for an accelerated, science based cleaning system. The seminars have been attended by a who’s who of organizations from healthcare, education, industry, building service contractors, manufacturers, distributors, government, military, research scientists and cleaning industry consultants.

With continued improvement of the process, Team Cleaning® has evolved into a state of the industry-cleaning concept based upon work simplification and redistribution.  It very soon became evident that change management caused many seminar graduates to experience some difficulty during the implementation process. In most organizations, this was caused by restricted time, insufficient training resources and a lack of experience in leading change.

New support programs have been designed to assist in facilitating information transfer and overseeing actual implementation. On site workshops offered by Concepts4™ helped bring the correct process to interested organizations focused on the systems´ implementation.  The system has expanded in two directions, overall management and computer aided quality monitoring.

Poor workmanship is a direct descendant of poor management practices. Concepts4™ has developed a management system to create and sustain high performance results.  Training and quality monitoring have been a differential in many service organizations. Concepts4™ has recently introduced Concepts4 Tracker™ for data collection related to solution analysis.

Concepts4™ is now recognized as the leading trainer and implementation resource of High Performance Cleaning Utilizing Team Specialists.

Cleaning For Health: A Healthy Indoor Environment Is Not An Act Of Nature.

Jim Harris Sr., company founder succeeded by his sons Jim Jr. and Jeff, built Janitronics into a successful enterprise by applying state-of-the-art technology and leading-edge management principles to a labor-intensive business. Janitronics doesn’t simply clean a building to remove contaminants - its management and staff are trained to understand that clean, orderly and safe working environments are critical to increasing productivity.

Whether it’s colleges or other educational institutions, medical and health facilities, industrial and technology settings or large office buildings, Janitronics brings not only a suite of the latest cleaning and maintenance services, but also a highly trained workforce, a commitment to continuous process improvement, years of management expertise and consistent customer dialogue to define service quality.

Because we create indoor environments, it is our responsibility to sustain them. We need science to define what clean is, and effective systems to maintain it. You can’t just believe your eyes.

Janitronics utilizes advanced technology, new to the cleaning industry, to measure bacteria levels on surfaces. A surface is swiped to measure the bacteria. A second swipe, after steps are taken to reduce bacteria, establishes a base for future cleaning.

Healthy indoor environments lead to healthy, productive employees and healthier bottom lines. A healthy indoor environment is an act of man.

We Can No Longer Rely On Our Eyes To Determine What CLEAN Is!
Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder… but Clean is not. Microbes are interesting characters.

Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder… but Clean is not. Microbes are interesting characters. The naked eye cannot see them, ears cannot hear them and fingers cannot pick them up for visual inspection. They are invisible to us, but not to science.

Cleaning personnel cannot determine how clean a surface is by visual inspection… no matter how well trained they become.

Janitronics understands this reality and embraces science as a critical component of our systems. Janitronics, working with the latest science and environment-friendly products delivers High Performance Cleaning Utilizing Team Specialists.

Janitronics puts a premium on finding the best people. It utilizes extensive background checks and drug screening in its hiring process and employs an exhaustive training program in its 18,000-square-foot headquarters that ensures associates perform at the highest level, make the right decisions when the unanticipated occurs and deliver services in the most efficient way.

Supervisors are trained in all aspects of the cleaning operation, time-management, supplies control and customer service, and exposed to the latest technologies to make them even more efficient.

Company personnel have the opportunity to upgrade their knowledge and skills through internal corporate educational programs and outside sources, and supervisors are expected to acquire industry certification. All positions at Janitronics have a base for certification or professional designation.
