The Mirror Lake Inn has been pampering guests for more than two decades. The inn also features a luxurious health spa.
Mirror Lake Inn is in business to pamper, with amenities that include a spa with seven treatment rooms, an indoor and outdoor pool, suites with fireplaces and Jacuzzis, and balconies that overlook the lake.
Located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains, the inn dates back to the 1920s. The resort frequently tops international travel guide lists and has earned Four Diamond status for the past 22 consecutive years. How do they do it? Good old-fashioned customer service.
“More than 70 percent of our guests are returns or by referral, so we know a lot of them by name, and we know what they like,” says Mary Jane Lawrence, marketing director at Mirror Lake Inn. “For example, we know before they arrive whether a guest might want certain bottled water in their room, or feather down pillows or decaf coffee or anything else. We accommodate all of our guests to make them as comfortable as possible during their relaxing stay with us.”
Mirror Lake Inn actually consists of a main house, terrace building and mountain house building, and across the street there is a lake cottage and a colonial house.
“The lake cottage was renovated a year ago, and now we have been working on upgrading the colonial house,” Lawrence says. “That house will ultimately feature 11 high-end suites that will include fireplaces, hardwood floors and Jacuzzis in every room. A lot of guests have been asking for the ultimate in resort getaways, and our colonial house will give that to them.”
The inn also features a Cottage Café in the lake cottage, a restaurant called Taste Bistro & Bar in the main building, and The View restaurant for fine dining also in the main building.
“We treat our employees very well, who in turn treat our guests very well,” Lawrence says. “Having a great time is easy at Mirror Lake Inn.”
